CONTROL UNIT IP MANAGEMENT
Using a local control PC
From factory the IP is
192.168.1.100
To change the IP adress
1. Connect the control unit directly to the PC using a standard network cable T-568B.

3. Access the software and, in the hardware window, right-click on Portals, and then select Search Network Portals
When the search window opens, click Search.
4. Click on the Setup button
When the portals configuration window opens, you can set values for the parameters in the portals configuration.
An explanation of the configuration parameters is provided below.
5. Change the IP address of the portal and press Send settings.
6. Revert the previous IP of your PC.
Using WEB explorer
1. Modify the IP address of your PC to:
2. Connect the control unit and type in the browser
(Username: admin, Password: 00000000) and modify the IP on that screen

IP:
IP address of the portal.
Setup Port:
It is used to search the portals at network.
Password:
For search and configura�on of the portals.
Mask:
IP mask.
Gateway:
Gateway of the network.
MAC:
Mac portal.
DHCP enable:
It is recommended to disable DHCP and use a fixed IP value.
DNS:
Server of the domain name. It is recommended to keep the zeros.
Data port :
Value of the port for communica�on between so�ware and devices (controllers, readers)
connected to the portal.
Dedicated client:
match the specific IP or the specific MAC value. This parameter affects only the communica�on between the
server so�ware and the portal. The computers on which the client so�ware is run are not affected, since the
client so�ware is only connected to the server so�ware and not to the portals.
Dedicated IP:
Valid if the specific client is enabled.
Dedicated MAC:
Enable web interface:
using a web browser using the IP and the Web port as an address.
(eg, if the IP of the control unit is 192.168.1.100 and the Web port is 80, the web address for the configura�on will be h�p://192.168.1.60:80)
Version:
Firmware version of the portal. If a new version is available, it will be distributed with the latest
access control so�ware edi�on.
To update the firmware, refer to the access control so�ware manual.
