2.0 Power tool safety warnings
2.1 Work area safety
• Keep work area clean and well lit.
• Do not operate power tools in explosive
atmospheres such as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases or dust.
• Keep children and bystanders away while
operating a power tool.

2.2 Electrical safety
• Never modify battery charger plug in any way.
• Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for
carrying, pulling or unplugging the battery
charger. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp
edges or moving parts.
• Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded
surfaces. Example: pipes, radiators, ranges
and refrigerators.
2.3 Personal safety
• Use tool only as directed.
• Only trained personnel should operate tool.
• Do not use power tool while tired, under the
influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
• Use personal protective equipment.
• Do not depress trigger when connecting to
battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool.
• Do not over reach. Keep proper footing and
balance at all times.
• Maintain product labels and nameplates.
If lost or illegible, contact ABB Tool service for
replacements.
2.4 Power tool use and care
• Do not use if on/off switch does not operate
properly.
• Remove the battery pack from the power tool
before making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or storing.
• If moving parts are misaligned, repair before
further use.
• Keep tool, handles, and mechanism dry, clean
and free from oil or grease.
• Store tool safely and securely when not in use.
• Use tool only in accordance with these
instructions and warnings.
