ongratulations on the purchase of your new Royal model eX-315w Electronic, Shipping Scale with
Wireless Remote Display. We recommend that you read this instruction manual carefully to become
familiar with the operation of the product. The manual explains, in simple steps, how to operate and
maintain your new scale. Please retain this guide for further reference.

The eX-315w Scale is designed for weighing boxes, packages and other heavy items. The scale is
ideal around the house. It is perfect for the traveler to weigh luggage before flights to ensure
compliance with airline maximum weight policies and avoid penalties and delays at the airport for
overweight baggage. No hassles or problems weighing large suitcases.
Please note that the weights provided are for reference and informational purposes only. It is not
intended that the weight be used or relied upon for any commercial use. This scale is "Not Legal For
Trade."
WARNING: To prevent damage to the scale:
DO NOT exceed the total weight capacity of the scale.
DO NOT drop the scale base platform or the remote display. Both units contain sensitive electronic
components. The scale may lose accuracy if it is dropped, banged, or handled in a manner other than its
intended use and as described in this manual.
There are NO end-user serviceable parts in this scale; and the scale should not be opened. Attempting to
service the scale will void the warranty and may permanently damage the scale.
WIRELESS REMOTE DISPLAY
The wireless, remote display allows you to conveniently weigh large boxes or items without interfering
with the display readout. You can place the remote display on a table top or any flat surface, using the
tilt-out stand on the back of the display. You can also hang the display on a wall using the enclosed
pieces of Velcro tape.

    1. Asegúrese que la plataforma de la base esté encendida. El indicador LED que se encuentra debajo del símbolo de ROYAL se debe iluminar al encender la plataforma de la base. 2. Presione la tecla tare (tara) en la pantalla pare restablecer la escala en ceros.

    • Oprima el botón lb/kg para visualizar las diferentes unidades de medida. La báscula muestra entonces las unidades de medida a elegir: en libras solamente (0.00-lbs), en libras y onzas (0-lb 00- oz), en kilogramos (y gramos) (0.00-kg.). La unidad de medida puede ser cambiada en cualquier momento que se requiera: ya sea cuando el visor muestra ceros, o bien cuando se acaba de pesar un objeto y su peso se halla aún exhibido, o incluso después de haber activado la función “hold”.
