Installation of the heat flowmeter

After the installation of the heat flowmeter, the front insulation of the heating circuit must
possibly be adapted to the housing form of the heat flowmeter. For this purpose, cut out the
insulation with a suitable knife. Please observe the instruction manual of the heating circuit
for the installation of the insulation.

1. Dismount the adapter pieces of the adapter pipe
first and mount them on the heat flowmeter.
2. Mount the heat flowmeter with the transition
thread connections in the return of the heating
circuit.
3. The handles of the pump ball valves must
be turned inwards in order to close the
front insulation (see figure on the left).
4. Screw the thread connections tight.
5. The thermometer ball valves are respectively
equipped with 2 sleeves G¼" which are sealed
with a plug. These sleeves can be used to mount
the temperature sensors of the heat flowmeter.
The required transition thread connections
must be obtained by the customer.
The PAW accessories contain a T-piece with
½" sleeve (item no. 3465) for the self-sealing
installation in the thermometer ball valve.
