We recommend keeping the ECO mode activated (ON position) to obtain a
greater energy efficiency, except in the following cases:
Keep the Eco mode deactivated (Position OFF): When connecting an electrical
appliance exceeding 50% of the maximum power of the equipment (500W).
Keep the ECO mode deactivated (Position OFF): If connecting inductive
equipment, examples: Water pumps, compressors, engines, grinders, cold-
storage rooms... Keep in mind that this type of equipment consume 3 more
times at the time of starting. For example, a 500W water pump will consume
1500 at startup, therefore it would require a generator no less than 1500W.
It is normal that upon deactivating the ECO mode (OFF position) the engine
increases its noise level as the engine's revolutions increase.
3.3 Operation of overload protection.
When the rated power of the equipment is exceeded the overload light comes
on, the generator continues generating energy but it shows us that we are near
the limit.
If the maximum power is reached or exceeded, the overload light starts flashing
and the generator stops producing power in a short span of time.
Procedure to restore power if the engine cut off electricity due to overload:
Remove all charges.
Stop the generator completely and wait a minute.
Startup the generator again (the overload light should already be off)
Connect the equipment to the generator (not overloading the maximum
power now)
NOTE: Always, once you verify that the generator is not able to bear a
charge, do not insist, continued overloads may seriously affect the generator
despite the advanced protections it has, overload damages are not covered by
the warranty.
