informations regarding the installation and use of the appliance.
Note: The appliance is intended for household use only.
Keep this manual in an appropriate place for future reference.
The manufacturer reserves the right to change the manual without any
obligation to update previous editions, except in exceptional circumstances.
Always use the appliance on a flat, stable, heat resistant surface away from
sources of heat or water splashes.
• Confirm whether the output voltage of the electrical socket corresponds
to the voltage stated on the classification label of your coffee machine.
Connect the appliance only to grounded electrical outlets.
• Do not turn the equipment on if the cable or socket are damaged or
malfunctioning. Contact Customer Service and Support (00 800 20 50 20 50).
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• In case of emergency: immediately remove the plug from the outlet.
• Do not let the cord hanging over a table or counter.
Do not let the cord get in direct contact with hot surfaces.
• To switch off, remove the power plug from the respective outlet.
Always hold the plug. Never apply pressure on the cord.
• Do not leave appliance on while unattended.
• The coffee-maker shall not be placed in a cabinet when in use.
• Before cleaning or maintenance, remove the plug from the power socket
and let the appliance cool down.
• Protect the appliance from the effects of direct sunlight, prolonged
contact with splashing water and humidity.
• Do not use the appliance for other than the intended purposes.
• Do not place the appliance near or over an electric or gas hot stove or in
a heated oven.
• In order to protect people from fire, electrical shocks and personal injuries,
do not immerse the cord, plug or appliance in water or other liquid.
• In case an extension cord is needed, use only a grounded one.
• Do not touch the cord when your hands are wet or moist.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors, or exposed to weathering agents
(rain, sun and others).
• This appliance is designed for indoor use only and in non-extreme
temperature conditions.
• This appliance is intended for household use only and similar applications,
such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by guests in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- in bed-and-breakfast type environments.
• Fill the water tank only with cold drinking water. Never fill the water tank
with milk, oil/olive oil or other similar liquids.
• Empty the water tank when the machine is not used for an extended
period of time.
• Do not put your fingers into the coffee outlet, as this can cause burns.
• Do not put your fingers into the capsule holder, as this can cause burns.
• Clean all the detachable parts with water. The exterior surfaces of the
appliance must be cleaned with a damp cloth.
• Empty and wash the deposit for used capsules and tray deposit for liquids
daily.
• Do not use the appliance without the tray deposit for liquids and its grid,
except when using a very tall cup, to avoid the spillage of liquids onto
surrounding surfaces.
• Do not turn off the machine during the descaling.
• Do not disassemble the machine and do not cover any openings.
