Precautions for Use
Precautions for Use
Q The batteries in the fl ash unit are needed to charge the fl ash and
will lose their charge over time.
Q Firing the fl ash multiple times in succession may cause the
temperature of the BATTERY PACK to rise and the supply of
power to be temporarily suspended (in which case the charg-
ing indicator will stay green and the fl ash recycling time will
increase). The supply of power will resume automatically once
the BATTERY PACK cools.
• Electromagnetic interference from the BATTERY PACK may cause
noise in photographs. Keep the BATTERY PACK away from the
camera.
• Turn the fl ash off to reduce the drain on the batteries when the
product is not in use.
• Turn the fl ash off before connecting or disconnecting the power
cable.
• The batteries may become hot if the fl ash is fi red a number of
times in quick succession. Take all due precautions to avoid
burns or other injury when removing the batteries.
• High temperatures may damage the product. Do not leave it in an
enclosed vehicle or other locations subject to extreme temperatures.
