27 RANGE EXTENDER RS 252WH GEN2

The Orbea Range Extender external battery connects to
the assist system to provide 252 Wh of additional capac-
ity to it. The total capacity of the system will depend on
the capacity of the bicycle's internal battery.
Refer to the RS battery maintenance, usage,
charging and storage recommendations in
the sections of this manual entitled "Main-
tenance" and "Warnings on the Use of the
Electrical Assist System" of this manual.

MOUNTING THE RANGE EXTENDER
downtube of your Orbea compatible bicycle, by installing
the attachment bolts with a tightening torque of 5Nm.
When installing the Range Extender bottle holder, remove
the washers pre-mounted on the frame and check that,
once installed, the six contact points of the bottle holder
are correctly supported by the downtube.

Install the Range Extender battery in the bottle holder and
secure it with the rubber safety band.
The Range Extender mounting is compatible with the
use of standard bottles when the Range Extender is
not mounted on the bicycle.
