DISASSEMBLY OF THE RS INTERNAL BATTERY
INFORMATION FOR ORBEA DEALERS
Installation of power assist system compo-
nents requires advanced knowledge and may
be beyond the skill of most users. Always go
and installation of the components of the Rise
electrical system. Damage to components re-
sulting from incorrect installation could void
the warranty on those components.
Orbea recommends that internal batteries
only be replaced by authorised Orbea deal-
ers, as the process requires the removal of
major components of the bicycle and the
electrical system. If you are going to travel
with your bicycle and need to remove the
battery, always take your bike to an Orbea
dealer to avoid damage to the materials and
to ensure that all of the components work
correctly and safely.
Incorrect installation of components can
cause them to fail, which can lead to serious
accidents and injuries. The method for remov-
ing and installing the internal battery is the
same for the 540Wh and 360Wh batteries.
